Senior Supervisor, Utilities (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead and supervise utilities operators, technicians, maintenance resources, contractors, and external vendors.
• Ensure reliable operation and maintenance of steam, electrical power, HVAC, compressed air, nitrogen, cooling water, and chilled water systems.
• Develop preventive maintenance and operations schedules, monitor utilities KPIs, and improve system reliability and uptime.
• Manage headcount, budgets, MRO inventory, spare parts, maintenance records, and outsourced service contracts.
• Lead troubleshooting, emergency response, audits, inspections, corrective actions, continuous improvement initiatives, and capital projects.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, cGMP, quality-system, environmental reporting, and permitting requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in an industrial environment.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience in utilities operations and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, boilers, electrical systems, compressed gases, and related utilities infrastructure.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, chemical manufacturing, or another regulated industry.
• Experience with reliability methods such as FMEA, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement, plus budget, contractor, and cross-functional team management.
