CRE Portfolio Manager I

Location: Columbus, OH; office workplace. Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States. Huntington will not sponsor immigration benefits or work authorization.

What you will do

• Manage the credit quality, underwriting, monitoring, and administration of an assigned commercial portfolio.
• Partner with Relationship Managers, Team Leaders, Regional Commercial Management, and Credit Officers to manage customer relationships and portfolio risks.
• Evaluate risk ratings, delinquencies, collateral exceptions, borrowing bases, annual reviews, criticized loans, and specialized reporting.
• Prepare written credit analyses and present proposed credit actions to senior loan committees and management.
• Support loan closings, portfolio reviews, customer solutions, and revenue growth through fees, deposits, and commercial products.
• Mentor Credit Analysts, analyze portfolio trends, monitor market and industry developments, and participate in special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent knowledge and expertise.
• At least 1 year of commercial credit experience.
• At least 3 years of Portfolio Manager and/or credit analysis experience.
• Experience managing commercial credit risk, underwriting, portfolio reviews, and risk ratings.
• Current authorization to work full-time in the United States; immigration sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Commercial Real Estate experience.
• Knowledge of commercial cross-sell products, including foreign exchange, commodities, interest rate derivatives, treasury management, and commercial cards.
• Experience with CLOS, PMTS, MAX, CARS, Microsoft Office, RETS, or AFS.
