Customer Service / Order Processing Technician

Location: Onsite at Mt Wellington, Auckland, New Zealand. Full-time hours are 09:00–17:30, with flexibility required for different shifts, weekends, and varying public holidays.

What you will do

• Enter, review, and validate pharmacy orders, checking patient details, medicines, diluents, legibility, and delivery information.
• Clarify incomplete or unclear order details with customers and technical specialists.
• Schedule orders, confirm expected delivery dates and times, and coordinate processing and delivery with pharmacy production specialists, team leaders, and customer service.
• Coordinate workloads across sites by bringing orders forward or delaying them to maintain room capacity.
• Capture customer complaints, product complaints, and adverse event reports.
• Provide clerical support using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access, including maintaining databases and preparing monthly reports.

Requirements

• Demonstrated accuracy in data entry and review with minimal errors, supported by effective time management.
• Ability to use pharmacy programs and maintain accurate documentation.
• Basic mathematics skills and effective verbal and written communication.
• Pleasant telephone manner when communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, a motivated approach, and willingness to support additional hours when required.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, weekends, and public holidays is required.
