Lead Data Scientist (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design, develop, train, and deploy complex, highly scalable machine learning models and AI solutions.
• Lead significant data science projects and define analytical methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria.
• Solve complex analytical problems across massive, disparate datasets to generate business insights.
• Mentor junior and mid-level data scientists and coordinate analytical personnel to maintain delivery and modeling quality.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Product Management, Business Operations, and senior leaders to drive adoption of data science solutions.
• Present complex analytical findings and the business value of predictive models to executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or another highly quantitative field.
• At least 8 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree, 6 years with a master’s degree, or 3 years with a PhD.
• Expert proficiency in Python or R and advanced SQL skills.
• Hands-on expertise with advanced machine learning frameworks, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or XGBoost.
• Experience deploying production models with cloud platforms such as AWS SageMaker, GCP, or Databricks.
• Strong understanding of MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, and version control.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or PhD in a quantitative discipline.
