Data Scientist: III (Senior)

What you will do

• Apply advanced analytics and conduct large-scale experimentation to solve complex business questions.
• Build, fit, deploy, and production-score predictive and deep learning models.
• Define data and technical requirements for training and evolving machine learning models and algorithms.
• Source and analyze structured and unstructured data through scalable pipelines and big data tools.
• Research emerging machine learning, deep learning, and artificial intelligence techniques.
• Present data-driven recommendations and promote analytics best practices across product and analytics teams.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in computer science, statistics, economics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of work and/or educational experience in machine learning or cloud computing.
• Experience with statistical analysis, scripting languages and packages, predictive model development, web scraping, scalable data pipelines, and big data analysis.
• Strong experience with R/RStudio, Python, SAS, SQL, and NoSQL.
• Experience with cloud machine learning technologies such as AWS SageMaker and machine learning environments such as TensorFlow, scikit-learn, or caret.
• Understanding of Bayesian network inference, linear and nonlinear regression, hierarchical models, and mixed or multilevel modeling.
