Planner and Control (SAP/MRP)

What you will do

• Manage SAP work order release schedules and reschedule discrete jobs to support on-time material availability.
• Perform pre-shortage, work order variance, MRP execution, supply-demand, master scheduling, and PDS requirement analyses.
• Review engineering change orders and requests, prepare status reports, and resolve work-in-progress issues with Finance.
• Control inventory levels, expedite shortages, forecast spare-parts requirements, and manage material variances and obsolete inventory.
• Participate in production meetings, floor audits, cycle counting, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Analyze structured and unstructured data, develop forecasts and statistical analyses, create Tableau visualizations, and translate business needs into action items using Python and SQL.

Requirements

• Conceptual and practical expertise in production planning, production control, inventory control, process control, shop floor control, or MRP.
• Knowledge of SAP work order management and MRP execution.
• Ability to solve complex problems using multiple information sources and communicate sensitive or difficult information.
• Experience with data analysis and forecasting, including Python, SQL, or an equivalent tool.
• Ability to collaborate with engineers, Finance, production teams, business users, and related functions.
