What you will do

• Develop and monitor financial crime risk models using advanced statistical techniques.
• Translate complex business problems into viable data science solutions.
• Visualize and communicate data insights to stakeholders at various technical levels.
• Collaborate with data engineers, software engineers, and business analysts to deploy scalable models.
• Educate the organization on statistical validation and hypothesis testing.
• Ensure all models and processes comply with regulatory requirements and internal risk frameworks.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen or have a US Resident Green Card (no visa sponsorship available).
• Undergraduate or advanced degree in math, physics, engineering, finance, or computer science.
• 3+ years of relevant experience (or 1+ years for graduate degree holders).
• Strong coding proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with tree-based algorithms and advanced data analytics.
• Ability to work autonomously and provide guidance to team members.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the AML (Anti-Money Laundering) domain.
• Experience delivering production-grade models in a cloud environment.
• Experience with neural network architecture and transaction monitoring systems.
