FX Operations Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Columbus, OH, near a Huntington corporate office; office workplace type. Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Provide operational support for corporate and institutional FX clients.
• Process incoming and outgoing foreign currency payments and manage settlement flows.
• Verify and confirm FX trades, including spot, forward, swap, and options transactions.
• Perform daily reconciliations and investigate payment delays, trade mismatches, and compliance alerts.
• Maintain transaction records in WallStreet, MTS, and SWIFT gpi systems.
• Collaborate with traders, relationship managers, and clients while supporting process improvements, automation, and system upgrades.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in financial operations.
• Experience with payment processing, reconciliations, investigations, or banking operations.
• Knowledge of funds movement controls and AML/BSA and OFAC compliance protocols.
• Knowledge of global payment systems and SWIFT message formats, including MT103, MT202, and MT300.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, accuracy, and deadline-management skills.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with FX platforms and financial systems such as WallStreet System and MTS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
