Software Engineer (Cloud/ICAM)

What you will do

• Design, develop, modify, and maintain software applications supporting modern Identity Access Credential Management solutions.
• Develop applications in cloud environments, including transitioning legacy applications to the cloud.
• Create and execute unit, functional, integration, and system testing and validation procedures.
• Provide operations and maintenance support, troubleshoot software and system issues, and improve application performance.
• Analyze user needs, software requirements, interfaces, and design feasibility while consulting with customers and technical stakeholders.
• Document program development, revisions, workflows, operating instructions, and end-user manuals; coordinate programming personnel when required.

Requirements

• BS degree with 15+ years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with 12–15 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with multiple programming languages, including Java, JavaScript, Python, and/or XML.
• Experience managing and developing web software and working with cloud services.
• Experience with Windows and/or Unix environments and Git-based code repositories.
• Experience documenting code and development methodologies, plus familiarity with unit and integration testing.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Spring, Java, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience in Agile development environments.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and scalable or parallelized architectures.
• Understanding of Intelligence Community customers and their priorities.
