Senior DevOps Engineer

TL;DR

Senior DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes/DevSecOps): Designing, integrating, and operating secure infrastructure platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment environments for a critical national security program with an accent on automation, scalability, and infrastructure modernization. Focus on building resilient platform services, integrating security and compliance controls, and troubleshooting complex Linux-based systems.

Location: Aurora, Colorado; U.S. citizenship required. An active TS/SCI clearance and CI polygraph are required.

Salary: $170,000–$190,000 annually, plus a company-funded 401(k) contribution of 25% of base pay.

What you will do

• Design, develop, integrate, and support computer, network, storage, and platform infrastructure.
• Support the transition of systems tightly coupled to their underlying infrastructure.
• Build and maintain pipelines for development, integration, testing, and deployment.
• Automate configuration management and improve platform scalability, consistency, and deployment efficiency.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and agile development teams on robust platform solutions.
• Integrate encryption, access management, security, compliance, and operational support into the platform.

Requirements

• Typically, a STEM bachelor’s degree and 8 years of related experience.
• Experience designing and integrating platform infrastructure with Kubernetes and RKE2.
• Experience with scripting or programming languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, or Go.
• Experience with Red Hat Linux, Apache Kafka, and troubleshooting Linux-based applications and infrastructure services.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, automation frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, and Chef, and DevSecOps delivery practices.
• Active TS/SCI clearance, active CI polygraph, Security+ or CISSP certification, and U.S. citizenship are required.
