DevOps Engineer (Linux/Kubernetes)

Location: Aurora, Colorado; US citizenship required. An active TS/SCI clearance and active CI Polygraph are required.

Salary: $160,000–$175,000 annual salary. Benefits information also lists $170,000–$190,000 annually.

What you will do

• Build, configure, administer, and troubleshoot Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems.
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles for provisioning, configuration, patching, and repeatable administration.
• Deploy and support Kubernetes clusters using Rancher and RKE2.
• Configure hypervisors and virtual machines, including resource allocation, provisioning, and performance troubleshooting.
• Support RGS and troubleshoot issues across Linux, virtualization, containers, networking, and storage.
• Collaborate with software and security teams on deployments, security controls, documentation, configuration baselines, and operational procedures.

Requirements

• US citizenship, an active TS/SCI clearance, and an active CI Polygraph are required.
• Security+ or CISSP certification is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related STEM field, with 5+ years of relevant experience; senior-level candidates typically have 8+ years.
• Hands-on experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux and supporting hypervisor and virtual machine environments.
• Experience with Ansible, Kubernetes, Rancher, RKE2, and RGS.
• Bash or Python scripting, networking and storage concepts, infrastructure software integration, and CI/CD support in a DevSecOps environment.
