Senior Software Developer (Secret Clearance Required)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement prototypes and production-ready application, tooling, web, and embedded Linux software.
• Integrate solutions with Department of Defense and open architecture software frameworks across classified and unclassified environments.
• Conduct software and systems testing, including unit testing, coverage analysis, and troubleshooting of complex engineering problems.
• Build and maintain automated documentation generation pipelines and support CI/CD development.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, manage independent work streams, and communicate technical concepts to stakeholders.
• Provide software architecture expertise for classified systems and platforms.

Requirements

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, plus 3–5+ years of software development experience; requirements may vary based on proficiency and experience.
• Hands-on development experience with Android, Java, JavaScript, C, C++, or C#.
• Experience with Git, Gradle, Docker, Linux, APIs, databases, cloud architecture, and DevOps tools such as GitLab, Jira, Nexus, or Artifactory.
• Knowledge of hardware terminology and scripting with Bash or Python.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.

Nice to have

• Agile development experience and experience with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration tools.
• Experience with software-defined radios, networking and security, Kibana, Elasticsearch, NVIDIA CUDA, or Linux kernel development.
• Experience developing CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with DoD air and space systems.
