Principal Software Engineer

What you will do

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, deployment, and implementation.
• Develop software products in multiple programming languages and environments.
• Build and support cloud-based software using distributed computing platforms, microservices, and container technologies.
• Develop algorithms, modern data architectures, database models, user interfaces, and visualization solutions.
• Apply Agile development practices, continuous integration and delivery, and test-driven development.
• Collaborate with development teams while working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• Strong software engineering background and object-oriented programming experience with modern development languages.
• Experience across all phases of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with relevant technologies such as Python, MATLAB, IDL, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node, C++, Angular, Spring Boot, Vue, Qt, or React.
