Software Engineer, Web (Robotics)

What you will do

• Design, build, and own full-stack web applications from development through production.
• Develop backend services and scalable APIs using Node.js, TypeScript, and Python.
• Build responsive, high-performance frontends with React.
• Design data models and optimize data flow across large and complex datasets.
• Collaborate with product, AI, and engineering teams to deliver customer-facing features.
• Debug production issues and improve system performance, reliability, testing, and developer workflows.

Requirements

• 5–10+ years of experience building and shipping production web applications.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, and React.
• Experience designing and building full-stack systems, including APIs, services, and frontends.
• Understanding of system design, scalability, and performance tradeoffs.
• Experience with databases such as MongoDB, Redis, or similar technologies.
• Experience deploying and operating applications in AWS or similar cloud environments.

Nice to have

• Experience building data-heavy or real-time web applications.
• Experience integrating external APIs and third-party platforms.
• Familiarity with monorepo architectures such as Nx or Lerna.
• Experience scaling production applications used by external customers.
