Software Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Chantilly, Virginia; positions are also available in Herndon, Virginia, and Arlington, Virginia.

Salary: $121,986–$182,979 USD annually.

What you will do

• Perform reverse engineering, static and dynamic binary analysis, and vulnerability analysis of cybersecurity software.
• Use IDA Pro, Ghidra, and debugging tools to investigate x86, x64, and ARM binaries.
• Write proof-of-concept software that simulates analyzed binaries and their interactions with system components.
• Validate vulnerabilities discovered in software.
• Document research findings and security mechanisms, including access control, encryption, and obfuscation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of reverse engineering x86, x64, or ARM binaries using IDA Pro, Ghidra, or similar tools.
• 3+ years of experience with C, C++, Python, and/or x86, x64, or ARM Assembly.
• Understanding of modern security features in Windows or Linux operating systems.
• 3+ years of experience using debugging tools such as GDB, WinDbg, or OllyDbg.
• Active TS/SCI clearance is required.

Nice to have

• Malware analysis experience.
• Vulnerability research or analysis experience.
• Deep knowledge of network protocols or inter-process communication.
• Experience developing IDA or Ghidra scripts for reverse engineering.
• Familiarity with RTOS and embedded systems.
