Sr. Engineer - Maintenance Reliability (Manufacturing Automation)

What you will do

• Provide engineering support for manufacturing operations while meeting production, quality, compliance, and cost objectives.
• Lead manufacturing automation, capital, continuous improvement, and operational excellence projects.
• Improve equipment performance, uptime, process efficiency, product quality, and reliability using FMEA, DOE, SPC, process modeling, and software development.
• Develop and manage capital budgets, project timelines, expenditures, contractors, vendors, and cross-functional resources.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance strategies, equipment documentation, mold maintenance, spare parts management, and maintenance program improvements.
• Lead and mentor engineers, technicians, maintenance personnel, and related support functions while promoting safety and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, automation, maintenance engineering, project engineering, or a related industrial environment.
• Experience with manufacturing processes, automation systems, equipment validation, continuous improvement, project budgets, capital expenditures, and resource planning.
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, industrial automation, robotics, manufacturing control systems, CAD software, and engineering analysis tools.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations, cGMP requirements, software validation, and computer system validation.
• Bilingual English and Spanish proficiency with strong written and verbal communication skills; PMP certification or equivalent project leadership experience.
