Sr. Engineer - Maintenance Reliability

Location: Aibonito, Puerto Rico; onsite manufacturing operation

What you will do

• Provide engineering support for manufacturing operations while meeting production, quality, compliance, and cost objectives.
• Lead manufacturing automation, capital, continuous improvement, and strategic engineering projects.
• Improve equipment performance and reliability through preventive and predictive maintenance programs, reliability-centered maintenance strategies, and process optimization.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, expenditures, contractors, vendors, and cross-functional resources.
• Lead validation activities including FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, PQ, software validation, and development of URS documentation.
• Provide technical leadership to engineers, technicians, maintenance personnel, mold makers, and related support functions while promoting EHS and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, automation, maintenance engineering, project engineering, or a related industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, automation systems, equipment validation, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, industrial automation, robotics, manufacturing control systems, CAD, and engineering analysis tools.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations, cGMP, software validation, and computer system validation.
• Bilingual English and Spanish proficiency is required, together with strong written and verbal communication skills.
