Sr Specialist, IT-Data Platform Management (AWS)

What you will do

• Develop, improve, and support AWS infrastructure for a global data warehouse and data platform.
• Explain technical solutions and resolutions to internal customers and communicate feedback.
• Conduct peer code reviews and integration testing before production migrations.
• Provide advanced technical support, diagnose incidents, and perform root cause analysis.
• Document technical specifications based on business communications and serve as a subject matter expert for AWS cloud technologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with infrastructure as code, data platforms, data engineering, and AWS, plus 7+ years in IT.
• 5+ years of proficiency with Python and shell scripting.
• Experience with AWS IAM, S3, KMS, EC2, EMR, CloudFormation, and EKS.
• Experience with Terraform, Git, JIRA, Jenkins, Airflow, and Control-M.
• Strong SQL knowledge, including subqueries, data extraction, transformation rules, and source-to-target mapping.
• Ability to resolve data pipeline and production issues, coordinate incident resolution, document technical specifications, and manage multiple priorities in cross-functional global environments.
