Senior Accountant (Semiconductor)

Location: Hybrid in Fremont, California, United States

Salary: Up to $72,000 per year, depending on experience

hirify.global is hiring for a permanent, full-time accounting role supporting a semiconductor client.

What you will do

• Manage the full accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment preparation, vendor management, and reconciliations.
• Handle accounts receivable activities, including customer invoicing, payment application, and aging report reviews.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Lead month-end closing and prepare accurate financial reports.
• Support federal, state, and local tax filings, external audits, internal audits, and annual audits.
• Provide backup for the Senior Accounting Manager and support special accounting projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
• English required; hybrid work in Fremont, California.
