Senior Manager, Medical Affairs (Latin America) (Advanced Surgery): Leading regional medical affairs strategy across Latin America, supporting evidence generation, scientific exchange, medical education, and clinical research with an accent on healthcare professional and key opinion leader engagement. Focus on identifying evidence gaps, supporting investigator-initiated studies, developing scientific publications, and coordinating cross-functional initiatives across Brazil, Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, and South America.

Location: São Paulo, with responsibilities across Latin America, including Brazil, Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, and South America

What you will do

  • Develop and execute regional Medical Affairs strategies for the Advanced Surgery portfolio.
  • Provide clinical and scientific expertise to identify unmet needs, evidence gaps, and strategic opportunities.
  • Build relationships with key opinion leaders, emerging clinical leaders, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Support clinical research, investigator-initiated studies, scientific publications, and presentations.
  • Lead medical education initiatives, including advisory boards, workshops, training programs, and scientific symposia.
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, Regulatory, Clinical, Health Economics, R&D, and Global Medical Affairs teams, and represent Medical Affairs at scientific congresses.

Requirements

  • Advanced healthcare degree such as MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Medical Affairs, Clinical Affairs, research, or a related healthcare industry role.
  • Experience engaging healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders.
  • Strong understanding of clinical research and scientific communication.
  • Proficient English and Spanish required.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout Latin America.
