TL;DR

Location: Skaneateles, New York, United States. The role involves office-based work with engagement in a manufacturing environment and occasional travel to manufacturing facilities, training sessions, or industry events.

Salary: $80,000–$110,000 annually, with potential discretionary bonuses.

What you will do

  • Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies aligned with operational goals and establish KPIs to measure results.
  • Analyze processes, identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks, and implement improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, process mapping, and statistical analysis.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects from initiation through completion, managing scope, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
  • Train employees in continuous improvement methodologies and foster participation in improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with operations, quality assurance, engineering, and supply chain teams; communicate progress, results, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Document process improvements, sustain changes through standard operating procedures, and monitor ongoing performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, operations management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in continuous improvement, operations management, or process engineering, preferably in healthcare or medical device manufacturing.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree or relevant certifications.
  • Experience in healthcare or medical device manufacturing.
