Planning and Control Planner

What you will do

• Generate planned orders and create weekly production schedules based on shop-floor capacity and material constraints.
• Lead daily production and material management meetings with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Develop balanced production loading plans for seasonal demand and shutdown periods.
• Analyze material shortages and reflow production plans to support quarterly builds and urgent customer orders.
• Coordinate with material planning and logistics teams to ensure timely material delivery and finished-goods shipment.
• Manage production orders, purchase-order conversion and release, reconfiguration and swap planning, and materials for special engineering projects.

Requirements

• Conceptual knowledge of project management, change management, strategy, and planning.
• Understanding of key business drivers and their application to daily work.
• Ability to solve straightforward planning and production-control problems using technical judgment and established precedents.
• Clear communication skills for explaining complex information and coordinating stakeholders to achieve on-time delivery.
• Ability to provide informal guidance to new team members without direct supervisory responsibility.
