Senior Production Engineer (Terminal Project - New Product) (HcP/MSE4) (Automotive)

Location: Street No. 8, Tam An, Long Thanh, Dong Nai, Vietnam

Bosch Vietnam operates a high-tech manufacturing plant in Dong Nai producing push-belt components and expanding production capacity.

What you will do

• Maintain, repair, rework, refurbish, and improve progressive stamping tools for terminal production.
• Execute preventive maintenance, manage spare parts, and reduce tooling downtime.
• Resolve tooling issues in projects and mass production through structured troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Prepare design inputs, conduct trials, and design basic fixtures or jigs.
• Coordinate suppliers and internal departments, including tooling readiness activities and PPAP requirements.
• Improve tool-shop equipment, document technical knowledge, train technicians, and implement quality, safety, and 5S standards.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Manufacturing, Tool Making, or an equivalent field.
• 2–3 years of experience in progressive die maintenance, repair, and tool design.
• Experience with stamping processes for automotive, connector, or electronics components.
• Ability to read precision die drawings and interpret micron-level tolerances.
• Hands-on experience with die grinding, EDM, or other precision toolroom equipment; basic CAD and fixture design capability.
• Working proficiency in English is required for cross-site coordination, along with willingness to travel for short-term overseas training or technical handover.

Nice to have

• Exposure to high-speed press equipment such as Bruderer.
• Experience designing fixtures or jigs and supporting new tooling projects.
