What you will do

• Review and enter borrower, credit, employment, asset, liability, appraisal, title, and survey documents into the mortgage loan operating system.
• Verify residential loan applications for completeness and compliance with established standards.
• Rerun and reconcile the Automated Underwriting System and loan origination system decisions.
• Identify missing documentation, discrepancies, and unacceptable loan conditions, and coordinate required updates with lenders and other parties.
• Assemble complete loan packages, submit files for underwriting approval, and prepare documentation for closing and settlement.
• Process approval, denial, withdrawal, fee reconciliation, closing-date, and loan-status records.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 4–6 years of related experience and/or training, with mortgage lending or similar financial experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of mortgage documents and underwriting conditions.
• Ability to work under stress, meet deadlines, interpret documents, and operate related equipment.
• No specific certificates, licenses, or registrations are required.
