Payroll Specialist (US Payroll)

Location: Bala Cynwyd (Philadelphia Area), Pennsylvania, at the headquarters

What you will do

• Assist with semi-monthly payroll processing and payment, including bonus, shadow, and off-cycle payrolls.
• Review employee job, name, and address changes for accurate reporting and payroll processing.
• Support projects involving new-hire tax forms, independent-contractor payments, process improvements, and payroll automation.
• Process employment verifications and letters for current and former employees.
• Generate and troubleshoot files for 401(k), HSA, and other benefit plans while coordinating with third-party vendors.
• Respond to employee inquiries and audit and reconcile payroll data feeds.

Requirements

• Visa sponsorship for work authorization is not available now or in the future.
• At least 2–3 years of multi-state payroll tax experience.
• Working knowledge of US federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
• Experience supporting year-end processes, process improvements, and process automation.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel experience and strong analytical, quantitative, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• HRIS reporting experience is strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• 5–7 years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience with UKG Pro.
• Exposure to pre-tax and post-tax benefit plans.
