High Yield Credit Analyst (Fixed Income)

What you will do

• Identify opportunities and analyze the fundamental credit positions of companies issuing high-yield bonds.
• Provide real-time opinions on corporate and macroeconomic breaking news.
• Evaluate special situations, including mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate actions.
• Collaborate with fixed-income, ETF, and derivatives traders on investment ideas.
• Communicate market and issuer commentary to trading counterparties.
• Perform in-depth financial analysis of potential credit events with equity analysts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• At least 5 years of experience in financial markets.
• Active FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses.
• Experience in credit analysis, fixed-income trading, or cross-asset research.
• Strong written, analytical, and financial research skills, with an interest in macroeconomic and political events.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work additional or flexible hours when necessary.

Nice to have

• CFA qualification or progress toward the CFA designation.
• Familiarity with trading environments and derivative products.
