Forward Deployed Creative (Generative AI)

Location: Redwood City, California, United States; hybrid

Salary: $145,000–$205,000 base salary, plus equity

What you will do

• Partner with leading brands and creative agencies as a creative and strategic guide to generative AI.
• Architect and prototype AI-accelerated production workflows that improve speed and storytelling.
• Create high-craft content in Dream Machine and develop inspirational case studies.
• Consult with senior creative and business leaders, translating technical capabilities into concrete opportunities.
• Collaborate with Product, Partnerships, and Sales while bringing partner insights into the product roadmap.
• Define the engagement approach and playbook for the Forward Deployed Creative function in the region.

Requirements

• Senior client-facing creative experience as a Creative Technologist, Technical Director, or in a similar role at a top agency, studio, or technology company.
• Required portfolio demonstrating shipped, high-craft work, creative taste, technical skill, and storytelling.
• Deep expertise in creative production pipelines, including VFX, animation, motion graphics, or production.
• Experience designing new workflows and building in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to consult with senior creative and business leaders.
• Genuine enthusiasm for the creative potential of AI.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with generative AI creative tools such as Midjourney, Runway, Pika, or Stable Diffusion.
• Public profile as a creator or thought leader in emerging technology or generative art.
• Experience at an innovative agency or an in-house technology or brand lab.
