YouTube Creator & Educator (AI)

Location: Remote across the United States and Canada; New York preferred

Salary: $150,000–$215,000 per year for U.S. candidates

Runway builds AI world models and generative media tools that combine art and science for creative production, storytelling, robotics, and scientific discovery.

What you will do

• Build and own Runway’s YouTube channel, including strategy, topics, formats, publishing cadence, and audience development.
• Write, film, edit, and finish videos independently, including screen recordings, on-camera segments, and custom motion graphics.
• Create practical tutorials showing how to produce advertisements, short films, VFX shots, and complete creative workflows with generative AI.
• Use Runway’s generative tools and broader generative AI video tools as part of the production and teaching workflow.
• Track growth, watch time, and retention, iterating on content based on performance.
• Build the viewer community, identify guest collaborators, and partner with Product and Marketing on launches.

Requirements

• An active YouTube channel or substantial portfolio of published long-form video work.
• Expert video editing and motion graphics skills using After Effects, Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent tools.
• Strong filmmaking fundamentals, including shooting, lighting, and directing.
• Advanced hands-on experience with Runway and fluency with other generative AI video tools.
• A distinct point of view on filmmaking, advertising, or visual storytelling and the ability to teach effectively.
• Ability to manage the full production cycle independently without a crew.
