What you will do

• Identify information and datasets that improve models of the United States power grid.
• Research electricity and natural gas markets, including weather prediction and supply-demand fundamentals.
• Work with senior strategists and traders on energy research.
• Complete data entry and mapping to support quantitative analysis.
• Contribute to understanding and developing data-driven trading strategies.

Requirements

• Plan to graduate with a bachelor's or master's degree within one year of the internship in Electrical Engineering or a similar major.
• Demonstrate creative problem solving and intellectual curiosity about electricity markets and fundamentals.
• Show strong attention to detail and the ability to complete data entry and mapping.
• Have knowledge of Python, Pandas, MySQL, or related technologies.
• Be a self-starter, quick learner, effective communicator, and resourceful problem solver.
