TL;DR
Electronic Market Making Quant Trader (Python): Developing market-making models and managing risk for stocks and equity futures across Asian venues with an accent on alpha research, quoting architectures, and statistical analysis. Focus on building fully automated trading strategies, continuous multi-venue quoting, block liquidity provision, and risk management across sub-second to multi-day trading horizons.

Location: Hong Kong or Shanghai

What you will do

  • Develop market-making models for stocks and equity futures in Asia.
  • Manage risk associated with quantitative market-making activities.
  • Research alpha and develop quoting architectures across multiple trading horizons.
  • Support continuous quoting across multiple venues and provide block liquidity.
  • Expand the electronic market-making business and monetize trading advantages.
  • Collaborate with experienced quantitative traders while taking ownership of responsibilities from day one.

Requirements

  • Academic background in physics, technology, engineering, mathematics, or quantitative finance.
  • Advanced coding and software design skills, preferably in Python.
  • Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.

Nice to have

  • Experience writing and deploying fully automated trading strategies.
