Security Governance Analyst - New Grad (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Contribute to security control assessments, third-party security assessments, and policy exception reviews.
• Gather evidence, document findings, summarize risks, and track remediation of security control gaps.
• Support internal and external audits by coordinating documentation and responses to findings.
• Help maintain current and accurate cybersecurity policies and standards.
• Build automation and tooling for the GRC program using PowerShell, Python, and LLMs.
• Support security awareness and training initiatives across the firm.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT, risk, or compliance; internships, co-ops, and academic experience are accepted.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including clear documentation and information summaries.
• Foundational understanding of risk assessment, trade-offs, and prioritization.
• Scripting and automation skills with PowerShell, Python, or AI tools.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools to improve work efficiency.
