Security Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Define and evaluate cybersecurity solutions for Cloud, Web, API, and Mobile applications.
• Act as a security advisor to architects and developers to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and privacy.
• Partner with business units to identify architectural flaws in on-prem and cloud environments.
• Drive the adoption of embedded security controls within the Agile SDLC.
• Facilitate secure code reviews and penetration testing engagements.
• Develop and improve the Technology Risk Program to address emerging threats.

Requirements

• 2-3+ years of experience in secure architecture design and application security.
• Proficiency in security testing methodologies and remediation of common vulnerabilities.
• Strong knowledge of OWASP, CWE, and cloud security concepts.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Must be based in or work from the Dallas, TX office

Nice to have

• Experience in Financial Services or Fintech.
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related technical field.
• Experience leveraging AI/ML to solve security problems and scale operations.
• Knowledge of secure coding languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
• Professional certifications like CSSLP, CISSP, CCSP, or OSCP.
