Security Engineer (Corporate Security)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid work with 3 days per week in the office

What you will do

• Design, optimize, and support corporate identity and access management, including SSO, directory structures, group architectures, and employee lifecycle workflows.
• Audit corporate systems and deploy security controls covering logging, monitoring, DLP, data classification, labeling, and AI-enabled security tools.
• Improve data governance and security across Google Workspace, Confluence, Jira, Slack, and other corporate systems.
• Support alert triage and incident response in partnership with Detection & Response engineers, including investigation of Google vulnerabilities and bugs.
• Establish secure operational processes for onboarding tools, data transfers, external integrations, vendor assessments, and third-party risk management.
• Automate routine security operations with AI tools and agentic workflows while providing user-oriented security guidance to internal teams.

Requirements

• Experience navigating complex multi-organization corporate systems and workflows.
• Experience with Atlassian and/or Google technology stacks.
• Strong corporate systems security and IAM foundation, including hands-on SSO, user lifecycle management, and directory or group structures.
• Ability to collect user and business requirements and translate them into SOPs, policies, and guidelines.
• Basic Python, Go, or PowerShell skills for working with REST APIs across SaaS ecosystems such as Slack, Google Workspace, and Okta.
• Experience with SSPM, DLP controls, data governance, vendor security assessments, security alert triage, and incident response.

Nice to have

• Experience in high-growth technology, biotech, machine learning, or pharmaceutical environments.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 for LLMs, prompt injection prevention, and secure internal AI assistant integrations.
• Experience building AI-driven automation, agentic workflows, or custom security operations scripts.
• Knowledge of security patterns for ELNs, LIMS, HPC environments, GitHub Enterprise, GDPR, or ISO 27001.
• Security certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CISA, or GSEC.
