Analytics Internship: Fall 2026

Location: Onsite in the Richmond, Virginia office; at least 15 hours per week

River's Edge Insurance Solutions is a surplus lines insurance brokerage and managing general underwriter licensed in all 50 states.

What you will do

• Assist with the analysis and assembly of accurate, timely reports.
• Create, maintain, and enter information in spreadsheets, databases, and CRM software.
• Use advanced Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
• Develop Python scripts for web scraping and data extraction.
• Support senior sales and business development personnel with sports-related promotions and pitches.
• Provide deadline support and assist with overflow work in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Current college student or recent college graduate.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including functions, pivot tables, and data visualization.
• Experience with Python for web scraping and data manipulation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels.
• Visa sponsorship for work authorization is not available now or in the future.
