Data Analyst Intern (AI)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, California; must work from the SF office from January 25 to April 16.

Salary: $55/hour for Bachelor's students or $59/hour for Master's students.

What you will do

• Conduct data analyses to identify opportunities for improvements in the product and business.
• Communicate insights and actionable recommendations to cross-functional teams and leadership.
• Partner with product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to use data to advance their areas.
• Create metrics and build dashboards to monitor Notion's growth and health.
• Contribute to strategic decision-making through clear analysis and recommendations.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Economics, Statistics, Applied Math, Engineering, Computer Science, or another quantitative field, with graduation by December 2027.
• Availability to work from the San Francisco office from January 25 to April 16.
• Previous research or internship experience.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Working proficiency in Python or R, or willingness to develop proficiency.
• Strong problem-solving, adaptability, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Previous internship experience with product, engineering, or go-to-market teams.
• Experience building or prototyping features with AI technologies such as LLMs, embeddings, or ML.
• Interests outside technology, including art, history, or social sciences.
• Familiarity with computing pioneers such as Ada Lovelace, Douglas Engelbart, or Alan Kay.
