Quantitative Researcher (Machine Learning)

Location: Onsite in the New York or Philadelphia office

What you will do

• Design, validate, backtest, and implement statistical and machine learning models for quantitative trading.
• Apply probability theory, statistical analysis, and machine learning to build robust models and generate alpha signals.
• Propose improvements to existing strategies and optimize their execution.
• Evaluate research ideas using historical market data and large research clusters.
• Collaborate with systematic traders and technologists to move strategies into production.

Requirements

• PhD graduating by Summer 2026 or a postdoctoral position in mathematics, physics, statistics, electrical engineering, computer science, operations research, economics, or another quantitative field.
• Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills, with an interest in turning data into decisions.
• Programming experience with Python for processing and analyzing large datasets.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strategic thinking, self-motivation, and the ability to learn quickly.
• Visa sponsorship is available.

Nice to have

• Experience with C++ or another low-level programming language.
• Demonstrated interest in strategic games or competitive activities.
