Cybersecurity Analyst, Security and AI Governance

Location: Atlanta, GA; in-office position

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 base salary

What you will do

• Monitor security systems, networks, applications, cloud platforms, and AI-enabled services for suspicious activity and threats.
• Investigate security incidents, determine root causes, and support containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident analysis.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, security assessments, risk analyses, and remediation coordination.
• Develop and improve cybersecurity and AI governance policies, standards, procedures, controls, and Shadow AI oversight programs.
• Assess internally developed AI solutions, machine learning models, third-party AI vendors, and AI-enabled business initiatives for security, privacy, compliance, and operational risks.
• Maintain security tools, AI inventories, dashboards, metrics, documentation, audit materials, and regulatory reports while supporting awareness training.

Requirements

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, application security, cloud security, software development, or a related technical role.
• Hands-on experience with security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, risk assessment, and security controls.
• Familiarity with generative AI, machine learning, large language models, AI-enabled applications, prompt injection, data privacy, and AI model security.
• Knowledge of CIS Controls, the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, network and endpoint security, identity and access management, API security, cloud security, and secure software development.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, organizational, and independent-working skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with SIEM tools, security monitoring platforms, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Python, PowerShell, DevSecOps, or application security initiatives.
• CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, GSEC, or relevant AI Security, Cloud Security, Application Security, or Governance certifications.
