Customer Engineer III-CMP

Location: Dalian, China. On-site work is required, with approximately 20% travel. Relocation eligibility is available.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and upgrade customer semiconductor equipment.
• Use basic diagnostic techniques and digital analytics to troubleshoot technical issues with support from senior engineers.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and customers to understand process flows, requirements, roadmaps, and business challenges.
• Coordinate directly with customers to support smooth equipment operation and service delivery.
• Train and mentor junior field service engineers.

Requirements

• Associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification.
• 4–7 years of experience in the semiconductor or equipment support industry.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude with pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum systems, and/or thermodynamics.
• Strong knowledge of hand tools and digital multimeters.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to obtain a passport if travel is required, and ability to meet on-site safety, environmental, and health protocols.
