Senior R&D; Engineer, System Edwards

Location: On-site in Shanghai, China

The Edwards China organization supports system and equipment engineering projects for assigned customers, OEMs, and site teams.

What you will do

• Take responsibility for completing assigned CIP, original IC, and customer JDP projects.
• Provide engineering support for DP, Abatement, STP, CTIP, customized facilities, and equipment.
• Act as the technical contact for assigned key customers, OEMs, and site teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Specify sub-assemblies and perform electromechanical system integration.
• Develop design and quality improvements, cost reductions, enhanced functionality, and reliability.
• Define test plans, perform risk assessments, control project costs, and procure project materials, tools, and components.

Requirements

• Strong problem-solving ability across the full project lifecycle.
• Project management skills, including planning and estimating work duration within larger projects.
• Experience in system or equipment design and development environments.
• Ability to perform engineering calculations and basic FEA.
• Understanding of piping and instrumentation diagrams, system schematics, FMEA, HAZOP, DFMEA, and other risk analysis techniques.
• Experience with equipment type testing, value engineering, test-rig construction, and testing-plan development.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the Semi S2 standard.
