Customer Engineer IV-ETCH (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Dalian, China; on-site customer and clean-room work required

What you will do

• Install, maintain, upgrade, and service customer semiconductor equipment.
• Apply diagnostic tools, digital analytics, documentation, and troubleshooting techniques to resolve complex equipment issues.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Follow and create documented procedures and published task plans.
• Communicate with customers and internal business units, lead projects and customer meetings, and train junior field service engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 7–10 years of experience in the semiconductor or equipment-support industry.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude with pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, and/or thermodynamics.
• Advanced knowledge of wafer processing parameters and strong knowledge of hand tools, including digital multimeters.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport if travel is required.
• Ability to meet on-site safety, environmental, clean-room, and personal protective equipment requirements.
