Autonomous & Remote-Control Site Connectivity Engineer (5G): Designing, deploying, testing, and optimizing wireless communication networks for autonomous mining and remote-control systems with an accent on 4G/LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi, Starlink, RTK, and RF spectrum planning. Focus on integrating private wireless infrastructure, validating coverage and latency, solving reliability issues, and supporting customer-site project delivery.
Location: Wuxi, Jiangsu, China; customer sites, proving grounds, and mining operations

What you will do
- Assess customer-site communication infrastructure and evaluate 4G/LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi, Starlink, and RTK availability.
- Design, deploy, integrate, and support wireless networks using Private 5G, cellular, microwave, and wireless mesh technologies.
- Develop and execute coverage, bandwidth, latency, roaming, and reliability test plans.
- Use spectrum analyzers, site-survey tools, and drive-test tools to validate network performance.
- Maintain site wireless infrastructure, perform root-cause analysis, and improve network reliability and availability.
- Prepare technical reports, support customer training and project delivery, and coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in telecommunications, electronics engineering, computer networking, automation, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in wireless communications, networking, systems administration, or related technical operations.
- Experience with enterprise networking, wireless network planning, deployment, testing, and optimization.
- Knowledge of 4G/LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi, Starlink, RTK, TCP/IP, Ethernet, network reliability, RF spectrum utilization, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to support work at customer sites, proving grounds, and mining operations.
- Strong communication, customer relationship, analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with autonomous mining or remote-control applications.
- Experience deploying Private 5G, Wi-Fi, or Starlink solutions.
- Experience with telecom carriers, network vendors, or system integrators.
