What you will do

• Design, build, and evolve distributed systems for electronic order routing across global exchanges and trading venues.
• Develop resilient, high-performance connectivity for clients, brokers, exchanges, and internal trading systems.
• Support global expansion by onboarding new markets and trading relationships with colleagues across U.S., European, and Asian offices.
• Investigate complex production issues with traders, operations, developers, and external partners.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, engineering standards, and the platform's long-term technical direction.
• Improve scalability, observability, reliability, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Deep proficiency in modern C++ and strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and distributed systems.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to build scalable, reliable, high-performance software and solve complex systems problems.
• Background as either an early-career engineer with exceptional technical ability or an experienced engineer working with performance-critical systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with distributed systems, electronic trading systems, exchange connectivity, FIX protocol, or financial markets.
