Software Developer - Order Gateway (C++)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and optimize high-performance order gateway solutions end to end.
• Translate business needs into robust technical solutions in collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, code reviews, and technical delivery.
• Improve system performance, scalability, reliability, and software development practices.
• Provide Level 2 support for order gateway components and embed effective testing strategies.
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to technical leadership, project ownership, and team development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in modern C++ development techniques and Python.
• Strong experience with Linux environments, data structures, networking concepts, version control, and testing methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to global teamwork.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in Mathematics or Computer Engineering.
• Experience with mission-critical software, low-latency development, or exchange connectivity protocols.
• Financial domain experience across equities, derivatives, or other asset classes.
• Skills in scripting languages.
