What you will do

  • Build and maintain a detailed understanding of trading strategies, algorithms, products, and market microstructure.
  • Provide day-to-day compliance advice to Trading on regulatory and market conduct matters.
  • Support new trading initiatives and changes to existing activities.
  • Advise on market conduct and deliver targeted training where appropriate.
  • Enhance trading conduct and market abuse controls, including oversight and escalation of relevant issues.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in trading compliance or a similar compliance advisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of market regulation across APAC jurisdictions.
  • Experience in equity and/or derivatives markets in a compliance or surveillance role.
  • Experience related to algorithmic trading activities.
  • Ability to engage directly with traders and desk heads in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong commercial awareness, judgement, collaboration, and escalation skills.
