TL;DR

Compliance Director - (Pharmaceutical Compliance): Ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, and policies while managing complex compliance programs and advising senior management with an accent on pharmaceutical compliance, audits, investigations, and regulatory excellence. Focus on developing strategic compliance plans, leading complex projects, implementing training programs, and solving high-impact legal and regulatory challenges.

What you will do

Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, and ethical standards.
Advise senior management and business units on compliance issues and recommended courses of action.
Oversee compliance programs and initiatives, including highly complex projects.
Develop mid-term strategic plans and identify innovative solutions to complex compliance problems.
Support compliance audits, investigations, training programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Review contributions and work quality while influencing decisions across business units.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher.
10–15 years of compliance experience in the pharmaceutical industry; medical device experience may also be considered.
Business Partner or Center of Excellence experience.
Extensive knowledge of compliance laws and regulations, with experience managing complex compliance programs.
Experience with compliance audits, investigations, compliance management software, and tools.
Strong analytical, communication, leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

Advanced degree in law or a related field.
Knowledge of international compliance regulations and experience with regulatory agencies.
Experience influencing senior management and navigating complex legal and regulatory environments.
Experience using generative AI tools such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, with an understanding of responsible AI practices.
