Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager (Crypto)

What you will do

• Lead compliance reviews for new products, feature changes, market expansions, and modifications across the global product portfolio.
• Assess product documentation, user journeys, trading mechanics, rewards, disclosures, backend processes, and third-party risks.
• Determine regulatory blockers, required controls, residual risks, formal risk acceptance, and escalation paths.
• Prepare audit-ready compliance assessments covering licensing, AML/CFT, sanctions, KYC, consumer protection, financial promotions, market conduct, asset safeguarding, and data privacy.
• Partner with Business, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Legal, Audit, and Compliance stakeholders across jurisdictions.
• Drive compliance-by-design, post-launch assurance, control testing, training, and high-priority product launch work.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Compliance, Legal, or Risk within financial services, fintech, payments, or crypto.
• Direct experience reviewing new products and advising on regulatory risk in product compliance, regulatory advisory, or product risk roles.
• Deep familiarity with digital-asset products, including trading, custody, payments, staking, earn, lending, structured products, wallets, and DeFi.
• Strong knowledge of licensing and regulatory perimeter, AML/CFT, sanctions, KYC, consumer protection, financial promotions, and market conduct.
• Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical product controls and specifications.
• Degree in law, finance, business, economics, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Product compliance or regulatory advisory experience at a crypto exchange, fintech, or technology-driven financial services company.
• Experience launching products across the UAE, EU, or Asia-Pacific.
• Knowledge of CeFi, Web3, smart contracts, DeFi protocols, and blockchain transaction mechanics.
• Experience designing compliance risk frameworks, key risk indicators, and control environments.
• Experience with AI-enabled compliance tooling.
