Location: On-site in Torrance, California, United States
Estimated base salary: $130,000–$170,000 per year, plus equity, discretionary performance bonuses, and benefits.

What you will do
- Perform RF interference, spectrum-sharing, satellite-coordination, and link-budget analyses.
- Develop simulations incorporating regulatory and geographic constraints, network growth, customer expansion, and coordination strategies.
- Translate technical analyses into regulatory recommendations supporting customer capture and business development.
- Engage with the FCC, DoD, NASA, NOAA, and other regulators regarding licenses, applications, and compliance.
- Draft, manage, and submit licensing, coordination, and permitting materials.
- Integrate technical work across engineering, growth, legal, and government-affairs functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience in system design, manufacturing, design, or test engineering; internships and project experience are applicable.
- Experience with MATLAB, Python, C++, or comparable tools for RF-system modeling and analysis.
- Strong communication, technical writing, organization, prioritization, and project-management skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance as a condition of employment.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations under ITAR.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in engineering, physical science, or space policy.
- Understanding of satellite hardware and orbital mechanics.
- Experience coordinating across engineering disciplines and technical areas.
- Experience working with engineers, managers, and U.S. Government agencies.
