Technical Program Manager

Location: Torrance, California, United States. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, protected individuals, or eligible to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations under ITAR.

What you will do

• Maintain real-time visibility into delivery risks across modem, beamforming, telemetry, scheduling, and ground-station software products.
• Own the software development lifecycle through execution plans, dependency maps, delivery schedules, and operational-readiness tracking.
• Build processes, tooling, and visibility that improve coordination across distributed engineering teams.
• Identify and resolve integration risks across hardware, software, and engineering domains, escalating unresolved issues to leadership.
• Coordinate testing and validation across simulation, staging, laboratory, and deployed environments.
• Partner with mission management, engineering leadership, and customers to communicate delivery status and risk.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical program management, systems engineering, or technical engineering leadership.
• Strong technical understanding of software systems and distributed infrastructure.
• Experience working with DSP, RF, embedded, or real-time systems teams.
• Demonstrated experience building delivery processes and tooling.
• Must meet U.S. ITAR eligibility requirements or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations.

Nice to have

• Experience with SDRs, modem systems, satellite communications, wireless, or telecom infrastructure.
• Knowledge of DSP concepts such as filtering, synchronization, modulation, channel estimation, or beamforming.
• Experience coordinating FPGA, embedded Linux, or high-performance computing efforts.
• Customer-facing program experience and background in aerospace, defense, or mission-critical systems.
• Familiarity with ITAR, classified systems, or regulated operational environments.
