System Administrator for Computing Qual (Testing) (Networking)

What you will do

• Develop and qualify computing solutions including computers, networking, storage, and firewalls.
• Learn system topology and design, then perform tests in laboratory setups and on real equipment.
• Create and present test plans, test reports, and test results.
• Administer and troubleshoot Windows and Linux systems on physical hardware and virtual machines.
• Test systems to their limits, including edge-case scenarios, using tools such as Wireshark, iPerf, and BurnIn.
• Support computing solution selection, development, qualification, and long-term maintenance.

Requirements

• B.Sc. or B.A. degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience as a system administrator or test engineer working with hardware-based products.
• Hands-on computing and networking experience with physical hardware, not only cloud systems.
• Professional experience administering and troubleshooting both Windows and Linux.
• Knowledge of relevant testing tools, including Wireshark, BurnIn, and iPerf.
• Based in Rehovot, Israel; relocation is not available.

Nice to have

• CCNA, CCNP, or MCSE certification.
• PowerShell, Bash, or Ansible coding knowledge.
• Networking QA, system validation, and test plan creation and execution experience.
• Experience with RAID, BIOS, GPUs, and other computing hardware.
