Electrical Engineer - Zuken E3s / IO Controls (Zuken E3s)

Location: Onsite in Santa Clara, California, United States. Relocation eligible. Travel required up to 10% of the time.

Salary: $124,000–$171,000 per year, with potential bonus and stock award compensation.

What you will do

• Design and modify electrical and electronic assemblies, layouts, schematics, drawings, and specifications.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical problems and develop solutions for difficult product issues.
• Perform engineering analysis, experiments, electrical characterization, and reliability and failure analysis.
• Define, coordinate, and execute engineering tests and generate test reports.
• Lead or execute engineering projects, including development of key suppliers and electrical product specifications.
• Review engineering documentation, support product releases, and provide technical guidance to junior colleagues and project teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in a related field.
• Experience with electrical schematics, circuit analysis, analog and digital circuits, signal integrity, and power integrity.
• Experience with hardware validation, test development, root-cause investigation, and analysis of complex electrical and semiconductor system issues.
• Experience using oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, power supplies, semiconductor characterization equipment, environmental and reliability test systems, or automated test equipment.
• Ability to work onsite in Santa Clara, California.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Zuken E3s for cables and schematics.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Teamcenter Engineering PLM, UG NX, engineering databases, revision control, and product lifecycle management systems.
