Applications Test Engineer

Location: Liberty, North Carolina; based at the Battery Plant with residence required within commuting distance.

What you will do

• Define testing strategies covering unit, integration, regression, performance, and UAT testing.
• Develop and maintain test cases, scripts, and test data for Siemens OpCenter modules.
• Lead testing across manufacturing, quality, and logistics functional areas.
• Identify, track, and manage defects using test management and tracking tools.
• Lead and mentor testing resources and align execution with testing standards.
• Report test status and collaborate with cross-functional teams to confirm production readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of software testing experience.
• 2+ years of experience testing MES/MOM or similar enterprise systems.
• Experience with SQL and validating data across integrated systems.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Must have the right to work in the United States without current or future hirify.global visa or employment-authorization sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with Siemens OpCenter Discrete, Quality, Logistics, or Manufacturing modules.
• Experience in automotive or battery manufacturing environments.
• Experience with test automation tools or frameworks such as Selenium or Tosca.
• ISTQB or a similar testing certification.
