BEV OpCenter Engineer (Siemens OpCenter)

Location: Onsite at the battery plant in Liberty, North Carolina; residence within a commutable distance is required.

What you will do

• Configure and customize Siemens OpCenter for manufacturing, quality, and logistics requirements.
• Develop OpCenter workflows, data models, and user interfaces.
• Build and maintain integrations with ERP, PLC, SCADA, and other plant systems.
• Develop scripts, APIs, and data connectors to support system functionality.
• Troubleshoot MES issues, improve production performance, and support unit and system testing.
• Collaborate with business analysts and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience implementing or supporting MES platforms, preferably Siemens OpCenter.
• Experience integrating MES with ERP and shopfloor systems such as PLC and SCADA.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one scripting or programming language, such as JavaScript, C#, or Python.
• Experience developing APIs or working with system integrations.
• Must have the right to work in the United States without current or future hirify.global immigration sponsorship or work authorization support.

Nice to have

• Experience with Siemens OpCenter Discrete, Foundation, Quality, or Logistics modules.
• Experience in automotive or battery manufacturing.
• Experience with Mendix, Ignition, or other low-code platforms.
• Experience in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
